Code of Conduct

The Real Estate Agents Authority also has a Code of Conduct that all agents are required to be familiar with and abide by. This code is available to the general public and can be accessed by visiting www.rea.govt.nz and selecting ‘publications and forms’.


All licensed real estate agents are required to have a complaints procedure. Tall Poppy has a policy that requests complaints be in writing and that any written complaint must be referred immediately to a company director by either the complainant, the agent or the agent’s supervisor. However, any complainant is encouraged to refer their complaint to their agent, a senior person or a company director as soon as possible, whether it be written or verbal.
